Meritorious Service Awards
Congratulations to the 2009 recipients of the Dennis Lafata-Robert L. Lindsay Meritorious Service Award. Each year the Gateway Region selects up to five individuals who have contributed greatly to the sport of volleyball at the regional level. This year's recipients are Larry Furrer, Gretchen Moser, Kevin Nelson, Debbie Palmer, and Shawna Stover. We extend our thanks to each of them for their dedication to the sport of volleyball. Gateway Recognized Nationally in Region Spotlight

A recent news article released by USA Volleyball focuses on the Gateway Region's education programs. The article applauds the efforts of region staff members, Shannon Loso and Donna Mayer, for creating and implementing coaching education clinics. Gold medalist, Scott Touzinsky, is also quoted, noting his start and continued involvement in the Gateway Region. In addition, the region's yearly Recruiting Seminar is highlighted.
